Monte is the barber and loctician behind the chair at 4040 Mayfield Road in South Euclid, working both crafts under one roof most shops split in two.
One chair does both.
Most barbershops pick a lane. Monte works both: precision cuts and beard work on one side of the book, starter locs, retwists, and loc color on the other, all from the same chair.
It is not a common combination in this market. A fresh taper and a first loc consultation are just two lines in the same schedule, not two different shops.

The room
The walls say who he is.
The chair sits under his own name. Around it: framed barbershop prints, a Bob Marley portrait, Cleveland street signs, and a jersey with TINSLEY on the back. It reads like a room somebody actually lives in, not a rented booth.
One sign on the wall says Quality over quantity. It is the same phrase he uses on his own posts, and it explains the booking model: appointments run long, loc work starts with a consultation, and the schedule is built around finishing properly rather than turning chairs.
