Before you book
First-time loc and loc color clients begin with a complimentary consultation. Monte looks at your hair, talks through what you want, and schedules the paid service with you during that consultation. Do not place a paid-service deposit first because deposits are non-refundable.

A fresh set, sectioned and installed from your own natural hair. Length sets the price rather than the technique: shoulder length and neck up is one rate, mid back and longer is another, because more hair is more time in the chair. First-time loc clients start with the complimentary consultation above, not with this booking.
The regular maintenance visit, and the one that decides how the set reads over time: a shampoo, then a fresh retwist at the root so new growth joins the loc instead of fighting it. Same length split on the price.
The same maintenance visit worked two strands at a time, for a rope texture that holds its own shape. It is a different look, not a different stage of the hair, so plenty of clients move between this and the standard retwist depending on what the month calls for.
When the visit has to leave you ready for something. The retwist finishes into a style instead of straight down: barrels to the back, braids to the back, or a bun. The two-strand version of the same idea sits a tier up.
A deep-clean treatment for the scalp and the locs, booked on its own rather than folded into a retwist. Clients tend to add it when a set has been through a long stretch of product and styling.
Color is its own appointment on a mature set, not an add-on to a retwist. Full head carries a published price; a half head is priced with you at the consultation, since how much gets colored is the whole question.
